4 month old Shar Pei X

Kia Ora,
We are looking to rehome this cute little dude. His name is Smudge and he is playful, full of fun and is super smart.
We adopted Smudge in December from the SPCA but a change in work schedules means we won’t have the time to commit fully and fairly to this sweet pup - all we want is what’s best for our mate and making the hard decision to rehome him is what will be best for him.

Sharpei X
Approx 4 months old
Desexed (can provide certificate for dog rego)
Microchipped
Small/med size according to the SPCA but we think he’ll be a bit bigger - just look at his long legs!
Fully vaccinated

He’s learning some excellent manners super fast but would need a confident leader as his puppy ears don’t always listen! He loves a run around and a game of fetch, a nice brisk walk (his leash skills are improving by the day) and of course a nap (or several) in the sun.
He’s being crate trained at the moment and can sleep most of the night until he needs to go to the toilet (don’t worry his little barks will let you know when he needs out). He’s sociable and great with dogs but would really benefit from puppy school and even more socializing as he is a bit excitable. He’s not the best with cats and loves to give chase and bark so ideally a house without cats would be the best for him and your sanity.

We’ve got plenty of toys for him to take with plus an XL crate for him to give when get gets bigger.
